Turn the restaurants you save on TikTok into your own food map
You saved it four months ago. Today it is 300 metres away, and you will never remember it. A folder of saved videos cannot tell you what is near you or open right now. A map can.
Share the TikTok to BiteVault and choose Place. It finds the venue from the tagged location and the caption, checks it against Google, and pins it on your map with opening hours, photos and directions. A "top 10" video imports as a batch.
Share it and choose Place. Tap Share on the TikTok or Reel, pick BiteVault, and tell it you are saving a place. A Google Maps link or the venue's own website works too.
Check the pin. The venue is checked against Google before it lands. A chain shows a picker so you can choose the right branch, and anything it cannot verify is held for your review rather than dropped somewhere wrong.
Find it when you are nearby. Saves group themselves by city. Land in Tokyo, open the map, and every place you saved there is already on it.
Roundups in one go. A "top 10 cafes" video shows a picker of every venue it found, up to 20. Tick the ones you want and they are pinned at once.
Open now, been there, to try. Filter the map to what you can actually go to right now.
Cities sort themselves, from Melbourne suburbs to Tokyo wards, across 48 countries.
Share a trip list. Put venues in a Collection and send one link. The other person needs no account to look.
What if the video names several places?
It detects a roundup and shows every venue it found, up to 20. Pick the ones you want and they are looked up and pinned together, straight into a Collection if you like.
Does it work with Instagram and Google Maps links?
Yes. Share a Reel, a Google Maps link or the venue's own website and it is looked up and pinned the same way.
Is it free?
Yes. The free plan holds 50 saves in your Vault with 30 new saves a month, and allergen and gluten flags are free on every plan. Your first 14 days include Pro, which listens to the video. Pro is from A$3.33 a month on the yearly plan.
