A restaurant wishlist that knows where you are standing
Everyone has the list. It lives in a notes app, a screenshot folder and three different Saved tabs, and none of them can answer the only question that matters at 7pm: which of these is near me and open?
BiteVault keeps the places you want to try on your own map. Share a TikTok, a Reel or a Google Maps link, or add a place by name, and it is pinned with opening hours, photos and directions. Filter the map to what is open now or to what you have not tried yet.
Save places the way you find them. Share a TikTok or Reel to BiteVault and choose Place. A Google Maps link or the venue's own website works too, and you can add a place by name.
Let the map sort them. Each venue is checked against Google, then pinned with its opening hours, photos and directions. Saves group themselves by city and suburb.
Tick them off. Rate a place once you have been and it counts as visited. Filter the map to the ones you have not tried, or to four stars and up when someone asks where to go.
Open now. Filter the map to what you can walk into right now, not what closed an hour ago.
Cities sort themselves, from Melbourne suburbs to Tokyo wards, across 48 countries.
Collections. Put places in a Collection, a trip or your date night picks, and share it as one link. The other person needs no account to look. The free plan keeps one Collection; Pro has as many as you want.
Recipes in the same app. The dishes you want to cook live next to the places you want to eat at.
Can I add a restaurant that is not from a video?
Yes. Add a place by name, or share a Google Maps link or the venue's own website. It is checked against Google and pinned the same way.
Can my partner and I save places together?
Yes. With Pro you can create a shared Vault: you choose what goes in, it gets its own shared map, and whoever you invite joins free from a link. A Collection can also be sent to anyone as a read-only link.
Does it work on Android?
Yes. BiteVault is on Google Play and the App Store, and works in any browser at bitevault.app with the same account.
Is it free?
Yes. The free plan holds 50 saves in your Vault with 30 imports a month, and allergen and gluten flags (a guide, so check labels yourself) are free on every plan. Your first 14 days include Pro, which listens to the video. Pro is from A$3.33 a month on the yearly plan.
